YES, I LOVE the sound of accordion. Great songwriters like Jack Conte and John Mellencamp ALSO know the accordion is a COOL and undervalued instrument. LUCKILY for me Mike Surratt - an AWESOME player was able to help me out w/ some great tracks. Even before I was able to secure his talents - I had written this tune w/ accordion in mind. Mike took it to another level. I'll cross-post the MySpace blog entries w/ the song background info to the NING blog here after a bit... ENJOY.
