Connecting creators and performers of original music
Blog Number 1!Announcement!
Hi people, im new to this site and came across it out of chance really, i had a brilliant idea of creating a social networking site for song wirters, who don't perform but want to be able to get their material across to the world somehow, this was my great idea, although following it up with a google search i found this site already does that and right there my idea stopped...... So i found myself browsing and thought i'll join.... So hello and hopefully i will start networking and discover some new and exciting things on here soon that i otherweise, wouldnt have discovered, without this flawed plan.
I will be posting a blog every week wanting to discuss new ideas within song writing, i.e new hybrids of genres( although to start with i hate labelling any music with a genre but i'll leave that for another time)
and just really tring to broaden my horizons within an art i have emence passion for.
So if you interested please stay tuned for my next blog, which will be up on wednesday 26th Nov, will be discussing the emmencly hard task that new song writers have within the music business of trying to get there music heard and breaking through the barrier of any marginal success.
I am currently studing a Music industry management degree and have a lot of new ideas within helping young writers make the transition from getting your material heard by the right people, rather than it sitting on myspace or an over loaded hard drive gathering dust in your bedroom.
